About Us

Welcome to The WHYTE House, Westport, Ireland. We hope you enjoy browsing our site and choosing your purchases in a user friendly manner.  The business was founded by Karen Whyte in 2000 and is a treasure trove of sophisticated contemporary fashion for the discerning woman.   Whether it is occasion wear, wedding guest attire, Smart Casual fashion, footwear or accessories you require this on-line fashion store is a must visit.  We stock mid to top end elegant Irish, European, Australian and American labels to flatter every body type from size UK Size 8 -24.  You will see that we adore colour at The WHYTE House and each season we specify production colours to our manufacturers which allow us to co-ordinate our clothing, shoes and accessories so you, the customer can purchase your full look under the one site.  No more carrying little pieces of fabric around looking for the perfect shoe or handbag colour!

Our retail store in the picturesque tourist town of Westport, offers a personal service to assist you in choosing the perfect look for any occasion.  Our team, Pauline, Rachel and Karen are on hand to offer advice on styling, fitting and co-ordinating various looks, giving you confidence and a feel good factor.

Our online shop is the most recent addition to the business and has come about as a result of the demand from existing visiting customers to our shop from Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA. This is a really exciting time for us - opening up worldwide, and we really hope you like the goods we have chosen for you.  We have hundreds of items in our store, but as this is our first time retailing online we have decided to offer a small selection which will be expanded in the future as we learn more about what you want!.

We look forward to dealing with you and any queries you may have, so please don't hesitate to email or call us for further advice.   Also, if you feel that we need to improve this site, please, please let us know.  After all, we'd love you to return...again... and again.....

Thank you.
